A left-winger's ranting on America, religion, capitalism and pie.

I am not a fan of censorship. However, all comments by new posters, posts which WordPress believes to be spam, or which I deem unacceptable, will be held for moderation and possibly not approved. I will not hold comments simply because I disagree with them, in fact it is in my self-interest and I have a history of allowing comments I sourly disagree with to go up into the hundreds. These are the things I deem unacceptable in a comment:

• Spam. I will not accept advertising, posts which have nothing to do with the topic, are copy-pasted or mass-posted here or elsewhere. Comments which are directed broadly and don’t contribute to the conversation are not welcome but are allowed.
• Dishonesty and harassment. Repeatedly, commenters have used multiple names to post in support of their own arguments. This, along with repeated insults or other forms of harassment, will result in simply not having your comments published. This is my blog, and if I feel myself or others are being harassed by a user, that user’s comments will be deleted immediately.
• Racist, sexist, and other bigoted slurs. Racism and sexism up to a certain point are allowed, until they become pure bigotry. You can find examples of rants against women and non-whites throughout my blog, and my tolerance of them grows thin. My blog is not a platform for bigoted rants, and such things can be taken elsewhere. If you would like to coherently and calmly argue your point, however, this I will allow. This is an example of what I will not allow any longer:
